Charter Standard
Teams can now renew their Charter Standard for 2019-2020,
it is pleasing to note that already five clubs have renewed, Billingham The
Kings, Billingham The Merlin, Yarm & Eaglescliffe, RSD and The
Griffin. Many thanks to those teams for
being pro-active, therefore to the other teams don’t delay get yours renewed.
For the new clubs you need to start and put this in to
place, if you need a first aider then please enrol for the course next month,
lack of a first aider is no excuse for not completing. That also applies to existing clubs if you
need to renew the qualification as it only lasts three years. New Clubs need to have this completed
otherwise they may not be allowed to continue within the League.
First Aid Course has been organised for Wednesday 23
October 2019 here at Elm Tree Social Club commencing at 6pm. Application forms are available please
contact League Secretary for details.
This is the only course the league will run therefore if you need to
update or have someone else qualified then please organise. There is no cost to teams in the league,
North Riding teams can apply for the course and I will arrange with them re the
payment. I believe Andy Brown has
emailed the DFA Clubs a form and notice of the course.
Whilst on about Charter Standard, one club failed to
renew last season but have taken steps to rectify this already this season and
submitted their application to Andy Brown.
One team has still not achieved their Charter Standard and this is
despite hassle from me and a good amount of help, this team has been in the
league about 4 years. As a league this
team is now threatening the League’s Charter Standard as they continual fail to
complete therefore I am going to insist they complete and submit their
application before Christmas otherwise the league is not prepared to lose its
Charter Standard status and the Club will be suspended until such time as they
complete.

Secretaries Report
I am starting tonight’s meeting with a moan,
already had two clubs advising today that they are unable to attend meeting,
this is becoming a habit, teams need to make arrangements for someone to attend
these meetings.
Second point is I have to apologies
over the lack of league tables and Good Conduct table this is due to the
printer playing up and instead of trying to get everything done I decided to
leave, league tables can be viewed on the website. I will email a copy of the Good Conduct table
out to all in the morning.
All fixtures are on the website; one
change from that issued is that 27 October Billingham The Kings v Thornaby
Roundel has been postponed.
With regards to the match return can
you ensure this is filled in correctly with regards to the Sin Bin and Yellow card
boxes, for the first offence use the first box, if a second offence then use
the second box, don’t use the second box if only one card has been issued.
A reminder to those teams that play on
Stockton Council pitch that the first payment is due by 10 October 2019.
Some Teams still lax in paying fines, I
had to send three emails last night about non-payment of fines.
A further reminder to teams that they
need to complete their player registration on the Whole Game System, this is
compulsorily from next season so if you get set up now (most DFA clubs should
be) it will things much easier for next season.
If you need any help then for DFA teams contact Kerry Topping and for
NRCFA teams contact Donna Crowther.
Team
of the Month – We
will be continuing with this again this season, nothing for August as this will
be included with the September award.

Draws

Gorman Second Round draw was carried out
Referees: Jes is not hear
tonight as he is working however there are a few points he wishes to raise with
regards to player registrations, the first being when you are registering a
player then you need to remember to update player details, add email address,
club registering with and finally change the Registration Status from Awaiting Documentation to Ready for League to Certify this will change to
colour status from Red to Amber, this will allow to use on the match return.
Teams are starting to submit a number
of registrations on a Saturday, this must stop as no registrations will be done
after a Friday, if you need to add after Friday then do as a match day signing
on a Sunday as nothing is checked on a Saturday. Also a reminder to text Jes with any match
day signings, name, and address date of birth and club.
Transfers need to be submit by a Friday
night in order to play on a Sunday, the reason being is to allow the change to
be done on the website, match day transfers are not allowed, the form which
must be signed by all parties along with the fee must be with Jes no later than
the Friday. Teams can scan and email
transfer to Jes (again by a Friday) and submit a bank transfer but must advise
Jes that a bank transfer has been done.
September has been a nightmare for
referees and Jes would like to thank those clubs who have helped out by getting
a referee, Jes has also managed to get referees from out of the area to help
out. To accommodate Jes has been
changing referees around as late as 11-00 o’clock on a Saturday night just to
make sure games are covered, referees doing us a favour which is greatly
appreciated by the league.
Date of the next League Meeting is a
General Meeting on Wednesday
20 November 2019.
Don’t forget the First Aid Course 23 October, if you need a form
please let me know and I will email you one.
